For Sunday: Our Walking is our Preaching

09.22.13

It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching.

~ St. Francis of Assisi

Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best, “what you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.”

If you want to inspire greatness, be great yourself.  If you want to change the world, first change yourself.  If you want your children to grow up honest, true, and full of integrity; be honest, true and full of integrity yourself.   If you want to improve a relationship in your life, first change your side of the relationship.

Leaders can best teach others by their personal example.  You must be a good example to everyone you come in contact with.  You never know whom you might inspire to greatness.
